Schaarbeekse Kriek

The Kriek from here, with cherries from here.

It was 2003 when Armand once again released a full Schaarbeekse Kriek. Since then, we have gathered more than 100 families who, every good harvest, pick this special local cherry for us. This sour cherry is even smaller, even more intense, and even more representative of ‘our’ terroir. We easily allow these cherries to macerate for a full year and typically aim for 400 grams of cherries per litre of Schaarbeekse Kriek… Oh, and in the meantime, we have also established our own organic wild cherry orchard!
